Inspection and Initial Preparation

When a bouquet is received, we inspect it carefully, noting any external damage, wilting or browning that might be visible after the bouquet is processed. The bouquet is going to be completely disassembled shortly, and each individual flower will get another inspection later. For now, we're just trying to get an idea of its general condition.

Because we're going to take it apart, the bouquet is now photographed and several pictures are stored in the computer for use in reassembling the bouquet just as it was (in case this is what's wanted). We'll also make notes about any special features of the bouquet or other flowers.

The original bouquet is photographed with a high-resolution digital camera.
