Speed in receiving your flowers is of the essence. The day of the wedding is the best of all worlds, but the next day is fine if the florist has done their job well.

If the bouquet is going to be held overnight, one of two things needs to be done:

(1) If your bouquet is arranged in wet, round foam in a plastic holder with a handle (an "oasis" ), lightly mist the flowers and put them in the refrigerator (in an open plastic bag if possible). Make sure there are no onions or apples anywhere in the refrigerator! -- they'll turn the flowers brown.

- or -

(2) If it's a hand-tied "clutch" bouquet (the flowers have long stems that have been wrapped in ribbon and you carry it by the stems) you need to treat the flowers as you would any fresh flowers - stand the bouquet in a container with the stems in water. Don't worry about the wrapping ribbon getting wet.

With a wedding on Saturday, flowers in our hands by Monday morning is essential . . . otherwise a lot of flowers will have to be replaced.

Local Pick-Up Service
We are happy to pick up your flowers from your reception site if it is within the San Fernando Valley or the surrounding areas of Glendale/Pasadena, Thousand Oaks/ Camarillo/Ventura, Santa Monica/Beverly Hills or Santa Clarita. There’s a small pick-up charge depending on driving distance and time. Since we can only get to so many places on a given Saturday night, order of reservations or proximity determines where we can pick up. If a Saturday night pick-up is impossible, arrangements can be made for a Sunday pick-up or drop-off at our office.
